• Friday 27 September 2024 Macmillian coffee and cake morning The Macmillan Coffee Morning was a resounding success, bringing together a wonderful community spirit for a great cause. The event was filled with delicious homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee, and generous donations from everyone who attended. It was lovely having everyone together first thing in the morning (and eating cake for breakfast!) to show their support for Macmillan Cancer Support. Through the collective effort of volunteers, bakers, and donors, a good amount was raised to help fund vital cancer care services. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of community and generosity.
• Monday 23 September 2024 Year 2 Library Visit
• Monday 23 September 2024 Year 2 Firefighting! Year 2 was visited by White Watch Firefighters from Roedan on Wednesday morning. The children had a great time using hose, trying on the fire suit and exploring the fire engine.
• Thursday 19 September 2024 FOREST SCHOOL Year 4 had an amazing day at forest school with Noki! The children were full of excitement as they explored the outdoors, discovering new plants and wildlife along the way. They worked together to build shelters, learned essential outdoor skills, and even had time for some fun games in the open air. The fresh air and natural surroundings provided a perfect environment for creativity and teamwork. By the end of the day, everyone was tired but thrilled with all they had learned and experienced. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy hands-on learning!
• Monday 9 September 2024 Macmillian coffee and cake morning Thursday 26th September is our Macmillian coffee and cake morning. Please join us for tea, coffee, squash and cakes! It is a great way to meet other families and to donate money for a worthy cause. We will need lots of cake donations for this event please. Bring them to the school office on Wednesday 25th September.
